Terms of use and sale
Updated October 18, 2026
These terms apply to the Paraph iOS app and to purchases made in the app. By using Paraph, you accept them.
1. Publisher
Paraph is published by Naelo Studio (see the legal notice). Contact: aurelien@naelostudio.com.
2. The service
Paraph lets you sign a PDF on iPhone: import or scan a document, place a drawn or photographed signature, initials on the pages, mentions and a date, then export the signed PDF. The app works without an account and locally. The exported PDF carries no Paraph branding.
3. Nature of the signature
Paraph produces a simple electronic signature within the meaning of Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 (eIDAS): the image of your signature is embedded in the PDF. It is neither an advanced nor a qualified signature. Paraph provides no identity verification, no certified timestamp and no evidence file.
Naelo Studio does not guarantee that a document signed with Paraph will be accepted by its recipient or by a court. It is up to you to check that this type of signature suits the document.
4. Prices and offers
You can prepare a document for free in the app. Exporting the signed PDF requires one of these offers:
- This document: 2 €, one-time purchase that unlocks the export of one document.
- Week: 4.99 € per week, auto-renewing subscription, unlimited exports.
- Year: 29.99 € per year, auto-renewing subscription, unlimited exports.
There is no free trial. Prices above are for France, taxes included; they vary by country and are always shown in the app before purchase.
5. Payment
Purchases are made through the App Store and charged to your Apple account at confirmation. Naelo Studio has no access to your payment details.
6. Renewal and cancellation
The Week and Year subscriptions renew automatically for the same length and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple account is charged within the 24 hours before the end of the period.
The next charge date is shown in the app. If you allow notifications, the app reminds you the day before the Week renews and 3 days before the Year renews.
You can cancel at any time in Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Paraph, or from the app (My signatures > Manage my subscription). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
7. Withdrawal and refunds
The export is digital content supplied immediately. By confirming the purchase, you request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal, where such a right applies (in France, article L221-28 of the Consumer Code).
Refunds are handled by Apple under its own terms. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
8. Restoring purchases
Your subscriptions are tied to your Apple account. To get them back on another iPhone, use Restore my purchases in My signatures.
9. Your use
You agree to use Paraph only to sign documents you are entitled to sign, and not to imitate another person's signature or for unlawful purposes.
Your documents are stored on your iPhone. Deleting the app erases them: export the ones you want to keep. Naelo Studio cannot recover them.
10. Liability
Paraph is provided as is. Naelo Studio does its best for it to work correctly but cannot guarantee it is error free. To the extent permitted by law, Naelo Studio is not liable for the loss of a document, the refusal of a signed document by a third party or any indirect damage.
11. Intellectual property
The app, its name, design and texts belong to Naelo Studio. Your documents and your signature remain yours.
12. Apple license
Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies: Apple EULA.
13. Personal data
Data processing is described in the privacy policy.
14. Changes
These terms may change. The version in force is published on this page with its date. The price of an ongoing subscription does not change without Apple informing you in advance.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, first write to support to find an amicable solution.
Consumers resident in the EU may also use the consumer mediator free of charge: [TO BE COMPLETED]. Failing agreement, French courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
