Paraph produces a simple electronic signature. In the EU, the eIDAS regulation (article 25) forbids rejecting it solely because it is electronic, but its evidential weight remains that of a simple signature. Rules differ in other countries.

It is commonly used for a lease, a quote or a certificate. For a notarial deed, a loan or any document requiring an advanced or qualified signature, Paraph is not suitable. When in doubt, ask the recipient.

No. Your PDFs stay on your iPhone and are processed on the device, even offline. They only leave it when you export them yourself, by email, to Files or to another app.

If it is password protected, remove the protection and try again. If it is unreadable, try another file or scan the paper version with Scan a paper.

Tap Edit under the page to move all initials together. Every placed item can be dragged to move it, resized with its handle and deleted with a long press.
